Zodlounge is a boutique music production studio located in Nashville, Tennessee by way of Detroit, Michigan. We help artists realize their vision through songwriting, production, and sound development.

From the earliest stages of the song-making process to the production of a fully realized radio-ready mix, Zodlounge and its artists collaborate every step of the way. With world-class musicians and producers in house, Zodlounge is both creatively and technically equipped to bring each artist’s unique sound to life.

Tom Michael.

Producer, educator, and co-founder of Zodlounge.

Tom co-founded Zodlounge Music in 2004 after years of touring and recording as a bassist with Nashville artists. He has since produced records for top Nashville songwriters and developing artists alike.

He holds an MFA in Recording Arts and Technologies from Middle Tennessee State University, and teaches Studio Production at MTSU and Music Theory at Belmont University.

A structured, collaborative process designed to take you from your first idea to a finished, release-ready track. Without the guesswork.

    Discovery

    We talk. About your songs, your reference records, what you’re trying to build. Defines the scope.

  2. Step 02

    Pre‑Production

    Arrangements get tightened. Demos get made. Decisions get made before the meter starts ticking.

  3. Step 03

    Tracking

    The room runs. Vocals, instruments, performances. Captured properly the first time.

  4. Step 04

    Mix & Master

    The technical finish. Mixed and mastered to release-ready standards. Delivered as final masters.
